The model was originally built about 25 years ago as -EBWD which lives at Old Warden. It was scratch built to 1/5 (72") to my own plans taken from drawings of the full size and numerous photos taken at O.W.it was about as detailed as I could practically make it and had true scale folding wings which are great for quick rigging on the field. |

After about 15 years it was getting a bit tatty and the wings required
rebuilding, so I decided to turn it into the very first prototype -EBKT
which isn't often modeled and had see-thro wing and tail making it look
more like a model than most A/C.

| The 'quick refurb' took 9 years doing a bit here and a bit there and was finally finished in late spring this year ! |
The 54"'Firefly' is scaled up 1.5 from the plan supplied with the 1960s Frog kit. |
The D.H.Puss Moth is 80" span 80 powered (very low wing loading) |
The Hurricane is 68" span, 90FS powered and the scheme is authentic for an early development a/c (my old eyes can't cope with camouflage!) They had bare metal panels and yellow chromate on the fabric. |

The Racing Sea Fury 'Miss Merced' is 66" span and has yet to fly this year having been re-engined from 80 to 90 to hopefully give more power. |
The Denny 'Kitfox' is 72" span and has the authentic 'Junkers-type' flaperons which work quite well. It is based on makers drgs and an a/c seen at a P.F.A.rally. |
The 50" 'Aerobat' is 1.2X the original 1960s control-liner and is an attempt to produce something vintage with a bit more 'omph' than your average cabin floater! |
The same goes for the E.D.F.Venom which is a direct crib structure-wise from the 1958 K.K.kit for jetex -but a hell of a lot faster ! |

K.K.'Ladybird' It was originally powered by a noisy, messy vintage diesel as per the original, but was a pig to fly with no throttle (hence its patched appearence !) So this year I electrified it and it is much better- hopefully it will return next year recovered and with its rather neat radial cowl back on. |
