WMF 2011 Competition
2011 Competition Results Round 1
A good start to the 2011 competition 9 contestants turned up with a
variety of models from vintage to scale and a good sunny evening for a
change with a gentle breeze.
The comp. was fairly simple, a figure of eight and a loop to
be completed in 2 minutes with a spot landing, a one minute to landing was
called out and the winner was closest to 2 min's. with an extra bonus
point for the closest to the spot landing marker, it is not easy to judge
the last minute but we were all fairly close.
Only one hard landing (since repaired) so a good night and enjoyed
by all. A thanks to Duncan for the scoring and Ron for the
time-keeping and lets hope David our champ will be able to join
us at some stage we all wish him well.
